I heard from an old friend recently. Herb Feemster is better known as Herb Fame, half of the Grammy Award winning singing duo, Peaches & Herb. The duo’s iconic love song, “Reunited,” reached the number one spot in April 1979 and remains one of radio’s Top 25 Most Played Love Songs of the past three decades.

Roy Rogers’ (1911-1998) beloved trusty steed Trigger fetched more than a quarter million dollars at a Christie’s Auction on July 14. Trigger, the King of the Cowboys’ Palomino horse was just one of nearly one thousand items put on the auction block by the Roy Rogers Family Trust.

From the beginning, the goal was to offer the reader something more than a superficial glance at the subject. We wanted the reader to finish the story and say, “I never knew that.” This is a very short retrospective of some of those stories.
