I heard from an old friend recently. Herb Feemster is better known as Herb Fame, half of the Grammy Award winning singing duo, Peaches & Herb. The duo’s iconic love song, “Reunited,” reached the number one spot in April 1979 and remains one of radio’s Top 25 Most Played Love Songs of the past three decades.

Man Behind the Mask
The charcoal and silver reptilian patterned face mask—the Black Mamba—hides Jerry Wright’s salt and pepper goatee and ready grin. In gray sweats, sunglasses, and a black company ball cap turned backwards, the man behind the mask is the Black Mamba’s creator and CEO of Save Phace Inc, a company which produces protective face masks for all manner of sports and athletic endeavors.

“Some time between the time I was a toddler and a first grader, I got interested in show business. I always loved it,” said Bob Leeman of Sherman. Leeman grew up in Bonham, and even as a small child he exhibited talent as an artist, painting and drawing. At 10, he found another outlet for the “ham” in his veins, a little wooden friend he named Nicky.
