The duo’s iconic love song, “Reunited,” reached the number one spot in April 1979 and remains one of radio’s Top 25 Most Played Love Songs of the past three decades.

TCOG Turns 40
The Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG,) celebrated its 40th Anniversary with more than 360 guests attending an awards gala on June 19 at Austin College. The event was dubbed the “Legacy of Leadership”. The event was also a quiet farewell by Executive Director Frances Pelley, who notified her Board of Directors that after 30 years of service, she would be leaving the organization.

Ray Bledsoe doesn’t believe in day-old cookies. They have to be fresh to be good in his estimation, which is why he mixes his dry ingredients the night before and puts them into zipped plastic bags, three batches at a time. In the morning all he has to do is add the eggs and liquid or oil and whatever other ingredients are called for, and he is in business.
