I served in the Army with Herman Riingler in 1963-64 at Fort Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas. I remember that he kept me laughing with his great sense of humor.

Thanks for the wonderful article about his store.

Wow, Ringler's! I was so excited that Joanne Singleton, Kathy Radican, Beverly Hopper, Debbie Reynolds and I were doing some shopping there to get outfitted for cheerleading camp at SMU in 1967. We were representing Bells High School. Boy, did we look sharp!! lol And, then in recent years.........Anna Ruth Pritchard was still shopping there.........there I was in Denison and THERE was Ringlers. I shopped while Mother enjoyed a Dr. Pepper. I'm sure my Grandmother, Ella Mae Jennings, shopped there, too, as they went to Denison most every Saturday. Ringler's was just as classy and impressive in 2004 as it was in 1967.
