As a promoter of the Sherman Ex- Students Association Museum, I wanted to make sure two of our alumni got credit for the parts they played in the Sherman High School Band of 1940. In the article on William “Billy” Collins “Young Men with Horns,” the two men on opposite sides of Mr. Collins were not identified. They were Dr. Clyde Lewis Hall and Hugh Vestal. As you may know, the museum will be moving from its present location to the old Dillingham School building in September. We will have much more space and we invite everyone to come visit the museum when it opens in the new facility.
