Even though winter is normally a down-time for artists, many late winter and spring shows are already sending out calls for art. Here are just a few opportunities that have made it to Texoma Living! just this week. We hope this early indicator of activity means a great year ahead for artists and art lovers alike in Texomaland.

Gifts of the Heart Silent Auction benefiting GCC Art Department hosted by 416west Gallery and Studio (Denison): Call for Art deadline Feb. 10- 2-D wall mounted entries preferred, no entry fee. Sedona Artist’s Retreat with Darla Bostick hosted by regional artist Darla Bostick and held on-site in Sedona, AZ April 18-22, 2010:  A true retreat for up to 11 artists from the states of Texas and Oklahoma led by mixed media maven Darla Bostick.  Photography, watercolor, and acrylic mediums featured in this hands-on instructional retreat.
